Stomach Cancer Symptoms

Stomach cancer symptoms are evident in its early stages. The stomach cancer is also called the gastric cancer.

This cancer is a result of malignant growth of cells in the stomach lining or the wall.

The stomach grinds the food mixing it with the gastric juices.

The most important of these is the hydrochloric acid. The thick lining of the stomach protects it from this powerful acid. You can find stomach cancer symptoms rarely in its initial stage.

There are three types of stomach cancer or gastric cancer. They are the adenocarcinomas which start in the glandular lining of the stomach which is the most common type. The second type is the lymphomas, as the name suggests it starts in the lymphatic system and the last one is the sarcomas. This involves the connective tissue like the muscle, fat and the blood vessels.

The accumulation of the malignant cells at a certain point results in formation of tumors. These tumors grow and invade the deeper layers and other layers as well. The early detection of the disease helps in giving better stomach cancer treatment and increases the chances of cure. But this occurs in very few cases as the disease does not show any symptoms in its early stages.
